What is a Collaborative Circle?
A Collaborative Circle is a small group of professional healthcare providers who come together once a month for two hours to forge collegial ties and
share clinical knowledge across CAM professions.
What can you expect at a Collaborative Circle meeting?
A host, who provides a meeting place, usually a practice office
A facilitator, who coordinates the details of the meeting
Members, recruited with diverse types of practice in mind
Guests, who may present, join us for one meeting, or join STF
A welcome: we welcome our members and guest into our mission
A "go around" to allow us to brief our colleagues about professional developments in our training, practice, or practice offerings for clients
A clinical presentation: in the style of an in-service, all clinical theory and practice from member's professions are our focus, as this reveals how we
may collaborate more effectively.
Our organization began as the "Circle of Health" and this philosophy continues. We bring members a microcosm of the breadth of Complementary and
Alternative Medicine (see the "5 Domains"). This is the core benefit of membership in the network.
