STF is interested in opening Circles wherever there is a diverse group of clinicians who wish to meet and who value our mission of collaboration and
education.
Facilitating and hosting a Circle is a volunteer position. Here are the benefits and responsibilities:

Benefits
  • Facilitator: membership fee is waived while serving; Host: membership fee reduced 30
  • High Visibility: the Facilitator will be the representative of STF in their area. You and your practice/affiliation will be posted and referred to as the
    contact point for all STF activities in your Circle area. The Host's practice name and location will also be posted and highlighted through meeting
    location publicity
  • Support and Development: Facilitators will be in more direct contact with the founder and receive support, training and group interaction with other
    facilitators as time and distance allows.
  • The facilitator will have the opportunity to develop mentoring relationships among members and guests, supporting their members' growth as
    professionals and brainstorming clinical topics for everyone's benefit.
Responsibilities
  • The facilitator is responsible for the operation of the meeting each month and coordination between members and guests/outreach between meetings.
  • The facilitator and the founder together will recruit interested clinicians into the Circle membership. The recruitment philosophy is to attract pioneering
    clinicians and build the group through a small core.
  • The facilitator will develop a location and an interested host
  • The host will prepare the location for the monthly meeting and make arrangements for its use in their absence. Each group may decide if more
    hospitality, such as beverages and food are to be enjoyed.
  • The facilitator will have the responsibility of noticing problems that arise within the meeting process or member experience, and of solving them with
    directness and respect, with the confidential support of the founder
