across disciplines and across therapeutic theories and practices.
Our Vision, Mission, Goals
and Organizational Tenets
VISION
We believe that there is a yearning in our society for a more complete, compassionate, and innovative healthcare system. We envision that fulfilling this
dream involves venturing into a healthcare frontier that will integrate the best professional practices of complementary, alternative, and conventional
health therapies for the benefit of the patient.
We envision that Seek the Frontier Clinicians Network will impact this yearning for healthcare renewal by inviting excellent clinicians into cross-discipline
collegial community, and by opening diverse healthcare bodies of knowledge to interdisciplinary inquiry, discussion, and continuing education
experiences.
OUR GOALS
In order to achieve our vision and mission we will:
  • Create a membership organization focused on linking CAM clinicians to each other.
  • Provide membership services that increase clinicians' opportunities to meet and form meaningful collegial relationships, such as the Collaborative
Circle local study groups and regular regional presentations.
  • Design interdisciplinary teaching and mentoring programs to build clinical knowledge, understanding, and respect.
  • Acquire CEU provision to allow clinicians to be professionally rewarded for their participation in member activities.
  • Reach out to traditional healthcare by providing accurate information and teaching about CAM through member faculty and speakers.
  • Promote professional self care through reflective retreats.
  • Provide access to services/products that support excellent clinical practice and service to members' populations.
ORGANIZATIONAL TENETS
  • We are neutral with no affiliation with any particular health profession or institution.
  • We espouse no religious orientation though we promote both spiritual and religious practice as part of a healthy life for our patients and spiritual
maturity as a beneficial characteristic for clinicians.
  • We are politically neutral, though we are aware that political activities among our members can positively shape healthcare policy.
  • We expect each clinician to be accountable to their own professional identity, oaths, credentialing bodies, terms of state licensure, and adherence to
    appropriate scope of practice.
  • We invite each member to take a neutral and egalitarian stance towards other members despite widely varying types of training and experience.
  • Our clients' and patients' well being and improved opportunities to stay or become healthy is our most cherished core value.
